Festulolium pabulare – Felina – perennial winter pasture grass!
Sowing Rate: 25kg per hectare.
Planting Time: February to March (Southern Hemisphere.)
Festulolium is a grass engineered between Rye Grass and Tall Fescue, with all the varieties showing a mix of these two in varying degrees.
Felina is Tall Fescue Type of Festulolium.
The main traits of FELINA are a high yield potential, persistence, drought resistance and tolerance to a high level of subsoil water.
FELINA can be used as a substitute for meadow fescue and tall fescue, as these festulolium varieties have better feeding value – due to the higher content of sugar and energy. FELINA has a good early spring growth as well as a high production in late summer.
